Okuma SLV Fly Reel - $80
Weight: 10/11
With a die-cast aluminum frame, the SLV features a large arbor spool (perfect for your first spey or switch rod) with a multi-disc stainless steel and cork drag system giving it good stopping power.
Eagle Claw | Wright & McGill Dragonfly - $70 including case
Weight: 7/8
The W&M Dragonfly is machined from bar stock 6061 aluminum which allows it to be lightweight. At the same time, it offers a graphite disc drag system and the large arbor design offers up good capacity. It's a beautiful looking reel and a perfect fit if just getting started or looking to set-up a back-up rig.
Cortland Vista Turbine -$60
Weight: 5/6 weight
The Vista Turbine is a vintage reel with an aluminum frame and spool. It featured a revolutionary Turbine Drag which produced no inertial friction at start up but the drag increases as the fish runs. A great collector's item.
Cortland Magnum 200D - $100
Weight: 7 - 10 wt
Made by Leda in England for Cortand, this is an older model that has been discontinued with a disc drag. It is very durable based on its cast frame and makes for a great reel for a spey or switch rod.
